Kai’s passion for health and fitness stems from a background in athletics. From 2006 to 2010, she competed for the San Diego State Track and Field team in the short sprints, long jump and triple jump. Despite a frustrating hip flexor injury, Kai continued to persevere and was able to achieve many goals. Some of her collegiate accomplishments include All Mountain West Conference Team, Two-time NCAA West Regional competitor, and Top-10 all time at San Diego State University.

Following graduation, Kai received her fitness training certification through the American Council on Exercise. Still dealing with nagging hip pain, she sought to find a workout program built on injury prevention, rehabilitation and recovery techniques. Kai learned a great deal about bio mechanics, functional training and sustainability techniques. In a few short months, applying a more functional approach to her own workout program, Kai noticed significantly less pain in in her hip. Having gone through the process of dealing with and overcoming chronic pain, Kai seeks to use the information she has accumulated to help others.

Kai’s fitness program is functional and dynamic, utilizing corrective exercises to improve posture and develop a strong foundation. Her training method emphasizes sound biomechanics, ensuring that each exercise is done correctly and efficiently. Kai’s clients have seen an improvement in posture, strength, muscle tone, flexibility, balance, energy and sleep.

Kai’s dedication to helping people lead healthier lives is the reason she continues to share her knowledge with anyone who is interested in a sustainable workout program. Her pursuit of knowledge in the realm of exercise science, kinesiology, and anatomy is ongoing. Browse the ever expanding library of information provided on this website and share with a friend!
